A Fathers's Farewell

I would have...

I would have been there for each my children. Whenever you were scared I would have put my arms around you and told you not to worry Daddy's here.

I would have told each of you, that even if I am not physically with you, your heavenly Father is always an earshot away. Call on Him and TRUST that He will come trough for you.

I would have made sure that each of you have a relationship with Jesus. Jehovah Jireh your provider even when I could not, did not provide. Even now, hold on to Jesus, He gives you hope and love that can't be matched.

I would have been there for my sons imparting words of wisdom and imploring you to use wisdom in every decision you make.

I would have told each of my sons that the three responsibilities that a man must do for his family is to PRAY, PROVIDE, AND PROTECT. No one taught me but I say, Do it!!!

I would tell each of my sons that I am proud of you. Your future is yet ahead of you, do well. You can do anything you set your mind to.

I would have told each of my daughters that you are a princess. Hold your head up because our heavenly Father also says that you a princess. Be royal.

I would have told each of my daughters to demand respect and good treatment from everyone, you deserve it. Love your self and love my grandchildren with all your heart.

I would have told each of my Grandchildren that I love you so so so so much. Never doubt that. Your whole future is ahead of you so be smart and stay strong. You are the greatest.

I would remind my Grandchilddren that each day is not just the present but a Present from God. He gives us a fresh start everyday a new 24 hours to begin again. Enjoy your Present. Keep hope alive. Your Grand Daddy Loves you and will be watching over you. I Love You, I Love You, I Love You.
